Beter night vision

We have outdated NVG in DCS, resolution is terrible, could we get new one as pilots have ? There are great mods for NVGs, but its breaking integrity check, would it be possible to get something that has better resolution than 180p ?

Unless that's how a JHMCS projects night vision, which I doubt. That's not how night vision (nvg, nods, whatever you want to call it) looks. I.e a full screen effect.

But yes I agree night vision needs a rework. Funny enough if you look at the pilot 3d model in the cockpit from the F4 view, the pilots have a blue glow from the new models.

You're not supposed to use NVGs like that. Full screen NVG mods should disable the blurring of close objects like the cockpit. That setup might be a nightmare to play with.

With blurring, you interact with the cockpit by looking out of the NGV goggle frame, not inside it.
Try to disable that blurring on the mod you're using, there is no down scaling to 180p (I realize it was a jab at DCS) or whatever.

There are many options to chose with reduced blurring and with mask, which is the one I use. The blurring is still present on those.

There are directions on how to change the depth of field effect.

I don't know the quality of American NVGs in the mid 2000s(F18/F16) 

But apparently well into the 2010s British use the same crappy NVGs in their Eurofighters as they did in the early 90s in the Jaguars. Low resolution, blurry and far from great unless you have a decent moon or other light sources.

In dcs I can see things clearly with nvg up to 10-ish km, I think it's being too clear actually.

If you're at altitude with good lume and the air quality is good you can see for miles, even with older PVS-14s.
