159th_Falcon Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 NO MODS ARE REQUIRED Having said that, you might whant to add some skins so you can fly in an KA-50 whit the Imaginary color scheme of your own country. Or you download an cockpit mod whit different textures you like more then the original one. There are also alot of add ons in the form of missions and campaigns. There are no mods required though, just download the new V1.0.1 Patch, install it and enjoy the fun. (come online to, alot of people will help you learn mastering the KA-50) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
joey45 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Check out this thread > http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=34062 for on-line squadrons to join.. they also have servers you can play on... most of the time. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Kurtz Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 If your after recommended mods- 1. Sharkpit(either Dragon or Toby's variation of the Tango built pit. 2. Battlefield FX sound mod 3. HMS centre view mod 4. I like the "radio chatter" mod as it adds some battlefield ambience 5. LoReload terrain mod isnt bad either, although some people say its a little to green. I use it, but if I was motivated I'd reduce the "illumination" level a little bit. The terrain flares a little like when using ENB series mod, but overall its not to bad. 6. Dont forget about "Modman" for installing and removing mods. Simplest method is to install modman then select "download mods" which will allow you to browse modman compatable mods. ps- I'd give you links, but im pre-ocuppied drinking beer at the moment ;) 1

Scabbers Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 thanks guys, i am an experienced pilot from falcon and Janes F/A-19 as well as longbow and EECH. I tried modman. but I am on vista and MODMAN deonst like vista. so anyway. Got the take offs and landings down. i am now working on some of the avionics that are new to me. I worked US NAvy Avionics when i was in the navy but rusian stuff is different to some extent.... Any suggestions for modman? Now where is that speed brakes control again? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
GreenGriffon Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Make sure you don't have it installed in your game directory or under Program Files. Best to have it on the root of your C: drive (i.e. c:\ModMan). Other than that, not sure what the problem could be.
Kurtz Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 (edited) Yeah Scabbers follow Griffon's advice and install ModMan in its own folder. Im running Modman under Vista32 without any problems. (My Vista install has UAC and WD turned off, if that makes any differance) ps- only Modman compatable mods can be installed using Modman. Others such as BattlefieldFX, radio chatter, and HMS need to be installed manually Edited September 1, 2009 by Kurtz
SuDepp Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 (edited) ...Modman works flawlessly here with my vista 64 uac enbled system... Be sure to have the latest Modman and the above mentioned own path... Greets S@uDepp @Kurtz: THX  will try it later at home (on duty this night :( ) GREAT!
