Did a series of tests with the Mosquito at both the The Channel map and Normandy 2.0 to check for consistency. And also retested the "flying into ground" scenario with the P-47. Similar flying into ground observed with that plane, why i now posted in "Aircraft AI Bugs" Goal was to have an ai flight of Mosquitos fly at 700 ft. ~ 800 ft. MSL (or between 100~200 ft AGL) over an array of waypoints and make a level delivery over the target. I placed the IP around 4nm away from the target, which gives the flight ample time to line up. Tested it all out with initial waypoint altitudes set to 1500 ft MSL. This gave a nice and smooth run to the target and a level delivery from 1500 ft. MSL Now i tried to step down the altitudes of both the waypoints and later the "Altitude Above" setting in the advanced waypoint action of the "bombing" action. with waypoints lower then 1500 ft. MSL and above the planes running into the ground, no altitude in the Altitude Above will make the AI flight "pop-up" to around 1650 ft. MSL and then run a level delivery at 1600 ft. MSL (or roughly 1000 ft. above terrain). With waypoints lower then 1500 ft. MSL and above the planes running into the ground, and an altitude of 200 or more in the Altitude Above will make the AI flight "pop-up" to around 1650 ft. and run a level delivery at 1600 ft. MSL With waypoints lower then 1500 ft. MSL and above the planes running into the ground, and an altitude of (or LESS) than 150ft in the Altitude Above will make the AI flight run into the ground in a shallow decent. Like they do not see the ground. No matter the setting i get one of these two behaviour's.
