Some issues have been found and we are working on some fixes, but it is unlikely to be today, more likely early next week. 
 

Q: My game is crashing/messed up somehow visually:

  • Turn off the raytracing special option on the C-130
  • If you have an older GPU ( GTX for example ) Do not use the ray tracing special option on the C-130
  • VR Quad views. Turn off the raytracing on the C-130, or they get a view in only one eye

 

Q: I cannot load cargo

  •  In autoexec.cfg, if you have disable_write_track = true. Remove that line, and it will work. 

This wont be necessary after the hotfix, I will give you a new patch date as soon as I can.

Please check if the C130J screen is also experiencing display issues when used in HDR.

hi there, gentlemen,

it looks like the for WW2 planes the visual effects for cannon/guns hits, the 'puff's are no longer there when hitting the airplanes, i.e. there's not visual feedback if the rounds land on target or not. When switching the F2 camera one can see that he rounds did hit (the ac is full of holes), but again, no visual feedback/puffs are there. 

Also, when hitting the ground targets the visual feedback puffs are very very small so you can barely see them. I guess, for the ground effects it's ok, since they can be far away. But for the airplanes I hit them from 40-50 yards and can't see any 'hits'... 

Essentially, it's no longer fun to shoot the enemy airplanes. 😞 

edit:  oh, and the heavy flak (88s) explosion puffs in the air are no longer visible... ?

I believe Nineline has already reported the damage visual effects for WWII, good thing it is only the visual effects having issues, damage itself is working.

thanks we are getting lots of feedback during the launch and checking visual issues, some of the main problems are people turning on ray tracing in special options of the C-130 when their card does not support it, or it creates issue for quadviews in VR.

thank you, @BIGNEWY, yup, it's just the visual effects impact, otherwise everything else seems to work fine.
