If you Multiplay then you will prolly need it. If you don't, don't worry about it.

Best we all install 1.0.1b ...I wasn't sure either at first but it's intention is to unify all our national versions... Game config and files are not changed as far as im aware so you shouldn't be introduced to new bugs etc.

No, AFAIK 1.0.1b fixes something with the uninstall-routine and as it doesn't change game-content at all, there is no reason why internet-compatibility was changed.

 

I personally stick with the number-one-rule of PCs: Never change a running system.
