Of course you lost 1 of 8 activations. Please read the manual or game's FAQ before doing anything with the game.

Oh My.......I see you're still here :huh: Let's try this one more time.......... We have now ascertained, by your own admission, that you did not deactivate prior to (I assume - vague original post) installing on a new system. That said, why would you 'guess' that you need a new 'Hardware Code'? Subsequent to a First-Time install and patch to 1.01b, you will be prompted to enter your Serial Number only and thereafter the product will be automatically activated online and you'll be good to go - No need for a 'Hardware Code'. To Summarise: 1 - Uninstall and Reboot 2 - Install 1.0 and immediately patch to 1.01b 3 - Start up the SP GUI and select the 'Instant Action' Tab and follow the Starforce Activation Prompts for immediate Online activation. As regards to your e-mails not being replied to timeously, I would guess that the Wealth of available information pertaining to your query as well as your attitude might be a cause of delay.......;) Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? rld1 Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 When I start a mission I get a BS error box saying "The activation is not valid due to significant hardware changes etc" , that's true. It creates an error report I send to tech support, but no answer.

159th_Viper Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Like Pulling Teeth......:music_whistling: Navigate to the Registry (Start/Run/Redegit) and then Manually delete ALL the Registry Entries in your registry pertaining to Eagle Dynamics after Uninstall (Part of a complete Uninstall as advised above but not heeded for reasons unknown). Reboot. There will now be no trace of prior activations/record of BS on the system to lead to further error messages. Reinstall as above and activate.
