SuperKungFu Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I checked my storage, I actually have a Saitek X-36F stick and X-36T throttle. If i remember correctly, mine worked perfectly in Lock On running win xp. But since then i upgraded to the X-52. I think the only fault with my old X-36 was that the wire between the throttle and the stick was a bit "jumpy"- i guess that wire has been damaged because the signals would spike if i move around the wire. I could possibly sell that to you for like $5 + whatever shipping method you want. PM me if you are interested- you can probably use it and harvest it for parts to revive your current one [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ddahlstrom Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Actually, the x36/35 combo is quite nice for DCS:BS. I don't know about XP, but under Vista and Windows 7 it works great. You can even do shift functions easily with the modifier keys in BS. I recently replaced my old Saitek with a G940, but with the exception of more buttons, I think my in-game control with the old Saitek was actually better.
ctguy1955 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Im sending my X52 back, its messed up because of driver issues. I just got out my old X35T and X36F and hooked it up to win 8.1 and it works like a charm. Does not feel so bad either. I had tried using a logitech Extreme 3D Pro, and that stick was too tight. When I get my new in the box X-52, I will sell it on craigslist and buy a Warthog or anything but saitek. amiranda, The drivers i downloaded work well, PM me if you would like them.
