Has never been a problem with Win7 and LockOn. All that is needed is to Update the Starforce Driver obtained from the Starforce Website and you're Good to Go.

That is, unless I have completely misunderstood your query, which is entirely possible.

Thank you all people!

I dont know about updating the starforce thing. Cant remember but some time ago I found a post talking about the differences between the download starforcer version and the starforce dvd version.

Can I update my starforce thing having DVD version of the game?

If yes.......Am I going to have problems with my BlackShark Starforce version?

Yes - had to do it myself with Vista. Same as with Win7

No.

Starforce utilized in LockOn FC is completely different to the Starforce in DCS: Black Shark which requires Internet Activation - No drivers are installed on your O/S. With LockOn drivers are installed.

Polecat has also done a tutorial but that includes this and how to do a complete install. The method used shows how to install walmis F15, Sim-mod A10 and 3GO Su27. If followed correctly will allow for a faultless install with no white models or other glitches.

The tutorial can be found over at http://www.104thphoenix.com/ as the first sticky in the Mods & Tweaks section. You can also download some of the most popular mods including the above mentioned models and the best scenery mods in our download section.
