wolf_288 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Hi In a multiplayer mission (mission umbrella),in the start up option with payload cas and in the breifing default payload=12x 9A4172 40x S-80M (illumination rockets)can´t find this in her F10/F1 ?
159th_Falcon Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 under the F10(maintenance menu) you will find the F1 (weapons menu) I believe F6 is Default Load out which is the load out you start your mission whit. In case of umbrella that's the load out whit Vikr and illumination rockets [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
wolf_288 Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 but in the multiplayer startup option can I read (payload cas)F4 what have this to do with the berifing (F6 default payload)???
159th_Falcon Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 CAS is an description of the task of an helicopter, and there are a number of different payloads possible to fulfill this task. I believe CAS stands for Close Air Support, and thus it can just about always be used for any mission an KA-50 has to fly. In the Weapons menu the CAS option shows you some of the most used weapon loadouts to fulfill an CAS mission, since the blackshark was not designed to fly at night you will not find and option for Vikr whit S-80m rocket pods. That is why the mission designer modified the default payload in the mission editor so you can use the Default (F6) load out radio command to load some new S-80M rockets and vikrs. Correct. The new rockets and also the Kh-25 (not used in Umbrella) are not listed in the Radiomenu. You have to add it as default payload in the mission editor. So you can load it by F6. wolf_288 Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Hi but how do I add it as default payload in the mission editor??
Dusty Rhodes Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Open the mission using the mission editor and go to the Helo you want to change and change the loadout and then save your work and the default will now show up as what you loaded it up with. It takes a little knowledge of the mission editor to accomplish this but it is a very simple task. wolf_288 Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 Ok thank´s but how to see the contents in default payload(F6)
STP Dragon Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 You have to list the default payload in the briefing. There is no way to show the contents in the radio-menu. wolf_288 Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 Hi so if I dont have default payload listed in the briefing, I can`t no anything about the contents in default payload(F6) ?
159th_Viper Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Hi so if I dont have default payload listed in the briefing, I can`t no anything about the contents in default payload(F6) ? You have two choices: Either look it up in the Mission Editor (as mentioned) or have a look once you're In-Cockpit by sticking your head outta the Door. You are right however: Every Self-Respecting Mission Builder Will/Should include it in His/Her Briefing. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? STP Dragon Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) Hi so if I dont have default payload listed in the briefing, I can`t no anything about the contents in default payload(F6) ? Yes, unless you are the missiondesigner and know what you choose in the editor :) ...or have a look once you're In-Cockpit by sticking your head outta the Door. .... but you can't see what kind of unguided rockets you have. The pod is the same for every kind of S-8 rocket. ;) Edited November 4, 2009 by =STP= Dragon Homepage: Spare-Time-Pilots DCS:BlackShark v1.0.2: BLINDSPOTs EditorMod DRAGONs ArmA2-Sounds DRAGONs BS1 TRAININGPACK DRAGONs MISSIONPACK [bS & FC2] DCS:World: TM WARTHOG PROFIL FOR BS2 DRAGONs BS2_TRAININGPACK DRAGONs TRAININGPACK DRAGONs MISSIONPACK
