I surf on many websites that have big amounts of large pictures like militaryphotos.net, different aviation forums and photos/videos section here.

As all the pictures load at the same time, it gets tiring to wait until they are all loaded.

Does anybody know how to make Firefox to load the pictures one by one?

That would make viewing pages much more comfortable. You can scroll down the page as the pictures load much faster since all the bandwith is concentrated on one picture at a time.

Yes agree, I am also looking for plugin to make images loading more comfortable, I mean when we open thread with many pictures and we scroll down to bottom it changes position upper cos images are loading.

Is there any plugin which make frame (fixed size) and when we scroll down it won't change position (this scroolbar). Currently it is very annoying.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Its easy. Open about:config page in your browser by typing this in your address field. Search the values with network.http.max keyword. The most affecting on this behaviour key named network.http.max-connections-per-server, reduce its value, but i don't recommend to set this lower than 4 - you will encounter noticeable slowdowns while loading usual pages with dozens of small objects.

I second that Boberro. Very annoying.

I'll try that Dunkan. Let's see how it works. Thanks!

EDIT: Seems to work like a charm! I changed the value to five. Great, thank you!
