thaFunkster Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Hi all, I would like to join a squadron who fly multiplayer adversarial. I prefer the F15, and I am a reasonably good pilot. However, when it comes to combat, I could use some extra training regarding combat tactics, as I all to often seem to get downed by those MIGs in Mulitplayer, too often without even seeing them. I hope there are some squads that do this kind of training, and even that organise battles against other squadrons, that would be really fun... Funk on YouTube!

Aeroscout Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 As manawar mentioned, I too would enjoy speaking with you on our TS. there are some things to keep in mind when picking a squad. Make sure you join their TS and get to know people BEFORE joining! Fly with them and get to know people. These are going to be the people you are going to be flying with A LOT once you commit to the squad, so make sure they are nice people (most people are in this community) Also, make sure you can dedicate the necessary amount of time to the squad. We all have real life, but be sure to contribute a few hours every week at the very least. Be sure to at least join the TS for a bit and chat even if you don't have time to fly. I made a very good decision with the 104th Phoenix squadron and I hope you make a good decision as well! Again, feel free to join our TS, which can be found at our website, which is in my sig! Keep Flyin' Aero DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
thaFunkster Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 (edited) Excellent, thanks guys. I actually had a really good fly on the 104th server for the first time yesterday, got on Teamspeak with a couple of guys Av8R, and who was the other guy? Hmm, some Finish guy. Anyway, we had fun co-ordinating against enemy migs, and it was good times. So I will definitely check it out, Lange, Ill look into the 666th as well. Thanks a lot. --- EDIT: When is a good time to fly / join TS with 104? I am in Australia, so I will have to try and coordinate time. Edited November 7, 2009 by thaFunkster Funk on YouTube!
