Kinda both. The Plan is that each DCS module is a separate game, but they are compatible in multiplayer mode.

I think that was their goal with Flaming cliffs 2.0. To see if they can get 2 separate games to work together, but be separate games. Since they got that to work, its looking to be good for the A-10c to be compatible with with Blackshark.

Lets hope your right. Still wonder what will happen to lomac A10 when DCS A10 comes out..... maybe it gets deactivated for multiplayer? Or server can force which version to use?

Guess we wont know until the 1st press releases will be coming in 2010

Falcon1906, i also was confused how this would work. I posted (#360) the question here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=788414#post788414

IMO DCS BS will most likely be the only module compatible with FC2.

Lockon has the A10a and dcs is doing the a10C so both technically should be playable assuming dcs carries this duality with FC. Better avionics in the C among other things.

This would be great but i'm not sure it will materialize.. The DCS range will expand in complexity and there will be further complexity trying to incorporate this into a relatively low fidelity sim..
