asparagin Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 I don't know what model 5 is but if you want to set AA and AF (or: better graphics) do the following: go to the software program of you graphic card (nvidia, ati) then: 3d options then program options from there you search and add lockon.exe as a program. then yoou change the following: anisotrope filtering: to 8X antialiasing mod: override program antialias option: 2X save changes note: depending on system, you can change AF or AA to higher values. bird-1 Posted December 21, 2009 Author Posted December 21, 2009 Yes,and thanks a lot! Another question, somebody says ATI graphic cards are better than NV graphic cards for Lock On, is that true ? EtherealN Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 There will always be people saying ATI is better, and some other people saying NV is better. I don't think I've seen anything conclusive on the topic - some ATI cards are better than some NV cards, and the other way around. 159th_Falcon Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Well depends on the moment you compare them and how. Currently ATI is the one and only GFx card brand you should buy a card from. There 5xxx series just sweeps anything of the floor. Yet in a few months Nvidea will come up whit there new line of GFx cards, and its not unlikely that then they will have most of the better cards on offer. A few months later then it's ATI's turn again and so on. You might want to have a look at the website http://www.hardware.info/en-UK/ But remember, whit today's GFx cards lomac shouldn't be a problem to run, even if you max everything out. This is because the biggest limiting factor in its performance is your CPU, not your GFx card. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)

TheMoose Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) Yes,and thanks a lot! Another question, somebody says ATI graphic cards are better than NV graphic cards for Lock On, is that true ? That depends on how thick is your wallet. :D Note also that lockon is more cpu then gpu demanding. But, I payed 550$ for my video card and very happy with it...
