I am trying to build a custom map but cant seem to get the ground crew to change payload, I have static objects placed for farp fuel, farp ammo storage, and farp command and they are actually on the farp pad

there are specific vehicles and equipment that must be included at the FARP. I just can't remember the exact ones. it's in the manaul though. They also must be located within a certain distance of the FARP.

@ Ramstein: He placed the static objects. So it should work if the objects, the FARP and the Ka-50 belongs to the same coallition.

Are you standing perfectly still?

 

I recommend lowering throttle and apply parking brakes. If even the slightest movement, refueling and rearming is unavailable.

Eastern forces:

 

CP SKP-11 command post, FARP command post for radio communications

GPU APA-50 or GPU APA-80 for electrical power

ATMZ-5, ATZ-10, Transport URAL-375 or FARP Fuel Depot for refueling

URAL-375 transport or FARP Ammo Dump for rearming

UAZ-469, URAL-4320-31, URAL-4320T, ZIL-131 KUNG, KAMAZ, and FARP TENT for aircraft repair. Repairs take 3 minutes after rotors stop.

 

Western forces:

 

M1025 HMMWV APC for radio communications

M818 transport for electrical power

M978 HEMTT tanker for refueling

M818 transport for rearming

M818 and FARP TENT for aircraft repair. Repairs take 3 minutes after rotors stop.

Dragon you know there are 2 lists right? 1 is just plain "Static" which means no AI and there's the vehicle list that is AI controlled. Am I right?

My question was if he added the static instead of the AI controlled vehicles.

Thank you, needed to know what units to place or if there was something special you had to do to get it to work. The structures labeled fuel FARP and ammo FARP are somewhat missleading.

Hi,

 

Dragon listing is exactly correct as per the manual. My advice however, is to create the vehicles required as a 'group'. Do not place them as individual units or static objects. Once you have created the group and patiently plotted them around the FARP, save the group as a template. Place a trigger over the 'T' in the ME and create a Trigger with 150m radius. All of your vehicles that enable Fuel, Ammunition and Repairs at FARPS, must be placed within 150m. Once you have finished plotting the units in the group, delete the trigger.
