Wolverine Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Not sure of this websites accuracy but it states something that I was always led to believe. A-10 Munitions.......... The weapon release sequence - that is, the sequence in which each pylon drops its payload - is as follows: 8, 4, 11, 1, 10, 2, 9, 3, 7 and 5. Hardpoint number six is always reserved for specialized pods (a 600-gallon fuel tank or a pilot's travel pod) and is not wired to drop ordnance. http://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=25 As for the M117, most sources I found states that it is only carried by the B-52. If I find a definitive source I will post it. FAS A-10 loadout page does not list the M117 either. It is however listed on the bomb loadout page as carried by B-52, B-1B and B-2 bombers FAS A-10 page FAS Bomb Loadout page Asus ROG Strix B-560-F, Intel i9-11900k, EVGA GTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000, 1TB WD Blue SN550 NVME SSD, Asus PB287Q 28" 3840x2160 TN 4K, Thrustmaster Warthog + F/A-18 HOTAS, Thrustmaster MFD Cougar, Thrustmaster TFRP rudder, Razer orbweaver chroma. BlackSharkAce Posted May 7, 2010 Author Posted May 7, 2010 (edited) well.. true but according to the picture.. by the way the tgm and agm dont seem to be working well.. i tried inclufing them into db_weapons and a-10a can't see any model, maybe no 3d model available.. -nope models are present.. -got it working. -CBU-97 are present but as soon as i drop one i got game crash. -mer3*3 CBU-97: unable to rotate bomb to match rack properly. I upload the mod again here for someone to confirm cbu-97 crash on drop. Edited May 10, 2010 by BlackSharkAce

BlackSharkAce Posted May 7, 2010 Author Posted May 7, 2010 well okay, i'll exclude it form final release then..
VTJS17_Fire Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 For offline gaming, i think we could make the CBU-97 playable. The CBU-97 is present in the Names.lua with a valid CLSID and in the db-weapons.lua. And we have a correct model. What we not have, is a function to this bomb. I think this is the cause, why the game crash if you try to drop a CBU-97. There are no entries in the cluster_data.lua, bombs_data.lua and bombs_table.lua. That entries define, how the bomb explode and what damage it bring etc.. But with such changes, you never pass the integrity check, because all files are in config\weapons\ folder. but for offline gaming it's ok. kind regards, fire Hardware: Intel i5 4670K | Zalman NPS9900MAX | GeIL 16GB @1333MHz | Asrock Z97 Pro4 | Sapphire Radeon R9 380X Nitro | Samsung SSDs 840 series 120GB & 250 GB | Samsung HD204UI 2TB | be quiet! BlackSharkAce Posted May 8, 2010 Author Posted May 8, 2010 Okay, thanks for this info. If you got time please do some testing with my last version of the mod on post #32. I think most changes are implemented, looking forward to finalising this mod. Feedback if you got any ideas, suggestions, remarks, whatever :). (for now cbu-97 will be excluded.)

BlackSharkAce Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 U need to furnish these pics to some modders. Actually I'm more working on what payloads are possible on a-10A and which are not. Still I love those closeups but I'm not designing any 3d model or texture of anything just so you know ;)
BlackSharkAce Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 We have the CLSID in the Names.lua and just copy&paste it in the db_weapons.lua and A-10.lua. - The AGM-65G has another (136kg) warhead. - And the training missiles (TGM) have no warhead ... just to practice aim and release. Do we have to edit the db_weapons with the weight of these newly included weapons ? Or can we leave default weight in db_weapons file ? I don't know if it affects anything more then payload loadout screen.. or is the weight coded in some otherfile ? That's the last thing that this mod needs before release of v1 I think. Thanks for you help guys !
GGTharos Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Do not put anything that goes on a 10C on the FC2 10A. That just makes no sense :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
BlackSharkAce Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 Well I don't have enough knowledge to know what's right and what's not.. All I have is some flight manuals. Internet is so full of untrue stuff so it's hard to gamble right.. anyway I put those TGM-65G/D and AGM65G/H. Correct me if it's wrong ^^.
mvsgas Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Sorry BlackSharkAce, I was not posting photos of the A-10C to get you to change anything, simply wanted to share some of the common and current A-10C load outs and I thought it look cool. I did not meant to confuse the load out with the load out of A-10A. Now, if you are looking for A-10A load outs, let me see if I can find some A-10A photos and/or Technical Manuals To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
BlackSharkAce Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 Would be awesome to have more real world manuals to get infos from. These sites keep contradicting themselves, best i read for now is an aim-7 on a a-10a or was that an aim 120 nevermind some crazy stuff..
mvsgas Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 (edited) I'm trying to find stuff but is not as accessible as the F-16 manuals which are everywhere the manual you would need would be the 1A-10A-33-1-2. I know this does not help at all, figure I pass the info , maybe you get lucky and find it on the web. From what I seen on the A-10A The do not carry MER (6xMK-82) I believe you can see many videos of the test of the A-10 with them but is just to heavy for operational use. I'm looking at this TV series (History Channels Modern marvels) since it got Gulf War one (Desert Storm) footage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhYFEsius7E Are you just having fun with it or are you trying to go for accuracy? The worst part you can't even trust actual USAF sites, I just posted an A-10 photos where the website claims it is firing a Hellfire, when you can plainly see a WAFAR The barriers we have is that A-10 is only used by USAF as oppose to F-16 where is used by so many other Air Forces, and the only reason the USAF even propose the A-10 is because the Army was performing the AH-64 testing/study/proposal at the same time.
