coke23 Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) Once I finaly could try 6DOF in LOFC2, (and it really works very well), look what's happening with the rendering of the front part of my Su 25 (also Su 25T). I can see through my aircraft! Well obviously it's a rendering problem with the nearest part of the fuselage to the windshield and I don't know what's going wrong. Any ideas? ECV56_Finger Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 This is why ED incorporate only limited 6DOF originally. If you are running the 6DOF Mod, the "seeing through the nose" problem it´s something that you need to live with it! It´s not a problem since it´s a modification that you made on the original software, and that´s exactly why they didn´t add the full 6DOF feature in the first place. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

theGozr Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) The Su25T is more problematic but ok ( would be nice to add some basics polygones there ;) ( like in the MiG29 ) Edited April 5, 2010 by theGozr Fly it like you stole it..

Basically if you didn't understand any of it: The cockpits are not fully rendered in 3D (like Black shark), they are partially 3D.. 80% is 2D. If I'm wrong correct me plz. coke23 Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) This is why the 6DOF movement limitations are built into the code. You must be running a mod? The only mod I have installed is SIMMOD'S A10. This is why ED incorporate only limited 6DOF originally. It´s not a problem since it´s a modification that you made on the original software, and that´s exactly why they didn´t add the full 6DOF feature in the first place. Never did a modification to the original software. Did'n even know that 6DOF Mod existed. Basically if you didn't understand any of it: The cockpits are not fully rendered in 3D (like Black shark), they are partially 3D.. 80% is 2D. If I'm wrong correct me plz. Everything you said I allready knew it, and has nothing to do with being able to see trough the fuselage. What I always understood is that FC2 has enabled a limited 6DOF, wich means that I could virtually move my head in the cockpit in X, Y an Roll axis (in a limited range of movement). May be I did not understand what "limited 6DOF" ment.
