Hi herig2.

Do you have TacView installed? Are th TacView files installed in your LockOn installation at? :

C:\Program Files (x86)Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\Export

Are you sure the following mission was selected

C:\Program Files (x86)Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Temp\client-20100710

or was this only the part of the filename that was visible.

lottu should only select files with the filename extension ".trk".

Thanks for the fast response.

It was me. I was trying to play a track that I had already deleted, and I didn't have the record Flaming Cliffs 2 check in the TacView program.

I love the fact that I can now used the tacview to see who I hit and what hit me, in the servers that disable the tacview system.

Thanks for your help.

Pag 27 of the LockOn 2 GUI manual lists aircraft switching as:

Aircraft Switching. This features allows you to occupy the seat of a human-flyable aircraft and is currently being flown by the AI. This aircraft though must be on the same side as you. To perform this, cycle to the desired aircraft using F2 and then press Right Alt + J.

Hi Chicki,

Point the program to your FC2 or DCS exe file using the player browse button ex. ...FC2\bin\x86\stable\simulator.exe

Load the track you want to watch with the filename browse button. The track files are saved in your FC2/DCS temp folder as *.trk files every time you play on a server.

Check off the options you want to change to override what ever the server's setting options were for that track.

Click Save if you want save the new settings to the track file, else click play to play the track back without saving the settings.

Apologies, my server was down for a bit while I was mucking around testing my stats collection scripts with A-10C beta. Should be back up permanently.

Crunch, many thanks for helping Chicki (and others) out. Can't give you any more rep otherwise I would.

Are some things hidden when you review the track? I just watched my first track where I go boom at high altitude and im not able to find a culprit.

Things can certainly be hidden when reviewing the track. I do not know if Lottu makes all the units visible, but my one click replay scripts certainly do. Check them out.

Thanks! I just tried it and it works well just like Lottu, but I'm still not finding what shot me down.

lottu 1.3.2 released

This version changes the operation of the "Generate TacView on playback" button to do the following:

* Alter Config\Export\Config.lua to set EnableExportScripts to true or false as needed (earlier versions of lottu already did this), and

* Alter Config\Export\Export.lua to add or remove the "dofile()" include for the Tacview 0.95b script "TacviewExportDCS.lua" white preserving the correct whitespace and no newline at end-of-file (required to pass exoprt.lua Integrity Check on servers such as the 104th, 51st, etc).

This should make generating Tacview ACMI files from tracks easier without having to manually add and remove the "dofile()" include - which could result in Integrity Check fails.

Thanks to AldoUSMC for posting about this. This prompted this change.

Downloads

Download lottu 1.3.2 from the following links:

* lottu-1.3.2.exe (1.1 MB) - most people should download this.

* lottu-1.3.2_debug.exe - a version with a logging console. Useful if you are having problems getting lottu to run.

* lottu-1.3.2.jar (631 kB) - a pure Java 1.6 version of lottu. Can be run on Windows, Mac, Linux etc. Allows track file to be manipulated, although tracks can only be played back (and Tacview ACMI files generated) on Windows.

Note: all versions of lottu required Java 1.6 or later to run. You can obtain the Java Runtime Environment as a free download from http://www.java.com

For older versions of lottu and more information about it please see the following page:
