I'm having problems trying to scan left and right in the F15. I reduce the the scan zone to narrow as normal but when i scan left or right it centers itself. Occasionally it will stay where i want and then all of a sudden flicks back to center. I've had this problem before and thought it was due to a plug on my stick being loose as it went away.

Last night after flying for a while it started again. I have switched USB sockets and also unmapped the command from my stick and even when i use the keyboard left/right keys it still does it. Has anyone else come accross this? Is it a common glitch?

Any help would be really appreciated as you can imagine its ruining my bvr lol

Thanks in advance.

Are you running ERI or LEAVU? It has a mode that tries to simulate boresight, which you may have gotten stuck in?

If you run ERI or LEAVU, remove the dofile commands from export.lua and try again.

Check config/export/export.lua to be sure. Check if there are any dofile commands in there (other than tacview). If there are, remove them or comment them out to check.

Ven, ive tried different hat switches, on a throttle and on the stick. Removed them and just used default keyboard and it still does it

Hmmm as Case pointed out, this does sound like some sort of ERI or export.lua mod thats "interfering" with your input. Ive had similar issues when we used LRM in FC1, never liked the lua radar workarounds as they seem to always do the wrong thing at the worst moment resulting in a broken lock...

Your best bet is to double check that you have default export.lua file and try again...

If you need the file I can upload it here later if you want... or just ask your squadmates, im sure they got it....

If not, there is a possibility of another controller (mouse, keyboard, wheel etc etc) that you arent actually using which can be doing this because its still mapped in the game and you might have not 'cleared' it... so check all connected devices...

You have probably mapped it under "axis commands" to some axis.

Check all controllers in the game.
