Sel94 Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 I am using a Saitek AV8R-02 for the Xbox and PC and when I use it for LOFC2, I roll right all the time. I looked at all the axis options and everything looks fine but I can't figure it out. Any ideas? Thanks.
roob Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Does it give the aircraft any input if you move the stick around? Engines work? Is it centered in Windows Calibration Options? Only thing that comes to mind when you say all the axis are fine is that you might've assigned "Roll" to some slider of some sort. My DCS stream [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Past broadcasts, Highlights Currently too much to do... But watch and (maybe) learn something :)
Bucic Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) Saitek sticks are self-calibrating although you can manually delete calibration data from the registry: 1. Disconnect your stick from USB 2. Use windows registry editor to navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\DirectInput (Windows 7 and probably vista too ; XP has the data in another place!) 3. Delete all the keys with VID_* name 4. Connect your stick back and move it in all of its range (for all axes incl. throttles) to renew the calibration data That is if re-calibration is needed. You don't need it yet, as I see. Both roob's suggestions are correct. First confirm that your stick is working properly in control panel (Windows 7 / Vista: Devices and Printers - rightclick on your stick - Game controller settings). If yes than you certainly don't need re-calibration. Then confirm in-game if you have the right joystick axes set for the right axes in-game. Then report back with details.
