Force_Feedback Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Is there any way to disable the dirt trail that appears when you're flying low over water/terrain? It's nice, but when I'm doing extensive "crash testing" it slows everything down. Is there a .lua we can edit or something else? Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
SUBS17 Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 rofl, crash testing, try recording your tracks of your crashes. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
KuostA Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 rofl, crash testing, try recording your tracks of your crashes. ..there's nothing wrong with that, I would spend All DAY repeatedly crashing, bashing, and dashing the 25T to be awe-stricken by its dynamics! Thats the real joy of it, Just going out on pure crash trials and sitting back to see how it plays out. Removing the dirt effect is a legimate request, as it DOES hog up the FPS if you dont have too great of a card, and can bring the entire crash process into a slideshow.
SUBS17 Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 True but I think that the dirt is an excellent enhancement for lockon. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
SUBS17 Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 And once you've parked up your flaming wreak you can hop out and have a Barbeque. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
KuostA Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 ..lol, no crap it is But it DOES hog up the FPS if you dont have too great of a card, and can bring the entire crash process into a slideshow.
Force_Feedback Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 Nice screens (mine are nicer :p). But has anyone found the file that is responsible for this ground dirt effect? (I purged the lomac shader folder before I played it, but apparently the ground effect is not there) BTW, I managed to fly with only the wing roots intact Sink Rate, whoop, whoop, Sink Rate, whoop, whoop. Landed the mig-29S on a carrier online, all the noobs went: "Wow" I'm a shark, see, my fin is big, mwahaha. Lietenant Dougnut's first flight ended very unpleasant. The detatchable cockpit What's wrong with this picture? Nothing, nothing at all :p And I landed... Again, now on the runway. (it felt like flying a model plane) Ouch, not the nose Extra small su-25t, medium baked And then...the engines quit What's wrong with this picture :p EOS failure indeed Funny flap configuration after overspeeding with flaps. P.S. I know the quality is shitty, but so is my computer. :\ Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
