DoctorStrop Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Hi, Fantastic that I can play DCS BS while my mates zoom round on FC2, I love it, but there is always a problem... I have a better internet connection than my mates so always end up hosting, which is cool, I don't mind. I open FC2 and start a game, and then join in with BS (I do this so I can jump back into FC2, without having to restart the server). The only thing is FC2 takes control of my TrackIR, and I just can't fly anything without it, as I'm too used to it. If I start BS single player then start FC2 server, then quit BS single play and join in then it works, but then BS has control over TrackIR. Anyone have any ideas how I can set which game uses TrackIR? Wolf Rider Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 A curiousity, I've noticed when setting an Nvidia profile to either FC2 or BS 1.2, nVidia sees both the FC2 simulator.exe and BS1.2 simulator.exe as the same. h00t74 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Why not just play on the hosting program? Seems like it would take less for your PC to do that and you would eliminate the trackIR problem

Seems like it would take less for your PC to do that and you would eliminate the trackIR problem I wouldn't be able to fly BS if only running FC2 exe, and visa versa. My PC is handling it all ok at avg 60FPS, so playability is not an issue. I am thinking that this is probably a limitation caused by the TrackIR software, attaching itself to the app requiring TIR support, as the app loads.
