Hi all,

 

Im struggling to get my heli to start on the ground and not running. All I can get is it about 30 meters above the ground and running?

Sorry, but could you be more specific? Are you having a startup problem or a placement problem in the map editor?

I have made a practice map for me with a few targets, but I want to start on the pan with engines etc... off, so I have to practice starting up as well.

Unfortunatley, I when I start the map, Im already flying :helpsmilie:

when in the editor, place your A/C on an airport/FARP and select 'Player' then change 'Turning point' to 'Start on ramp' , that should do it.

Under the first waypoint navigation type select Start from ramp.

ok thanks, ill give that a go. Still says 34m altitude, but thats prob the height above sea level.

Yes, it operates on sea level.
