After patching BS to 1.0.2 BS issues LUA error messages in many of the lua scripts in ...\blackshark\modules

Additinally I am unable to go into options portion of BS. With same problems.

Running 1.0.2 installation does not solve the issue.

Clearing BS and clean installing, then running 1.0.2 patch, likewise, does not resolve.

Is 1.0.2. a buggy patch? Is this common.

same problem

i am getting the same problem as far as not being able to get into the options panel after installing 1.0.2

very annoying; i have had to uninstall everything and reinstall it.

also, do i have to reinstall the two previous patches or does 1.0.2 cover them all ?

I suspect you guys experience this:

Check if you have files here - if so, remove them:

  • C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50
  • C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50

install 1.0

install 1.0.2

1.02 will cover them all.

Also, be sure you install both the DCS and the 1.02 as an administrator. When install is complete right click on the desktop shortcut and select properties, then choose compatability tab. Check the Run program as administrator box.

DCS should run fine after following this procedure.

I am using windows 7 and dont see where it says APPDATA in my user name folder...

where do i find it ?

You need to enable "show hidden folders".

Bring up Windows Explorer -> Organize -> Folder and Search Options

In the "View" tab, enable "Show hidden files, folders and drives"

i am the only user on this computer... so wouldnt i be by default the admin ?

If you are running Vista or Win 7 you will need to follow my procedure listed above.:pilotfly::thumbup:

I see what you mean if you install DCS in another directory. I did so trying to get Modman to work correctly. I'm getting all kinds of "Stack Errors".

Anyone know how to fix this problem? I followed the post from Panzertard, but to no avail...

I'm trying to get the latest Modman to work with DCS:BS. Modman will not work with the game installed on the C:/ Program Files directory. So, installed the game on my C:/ directory and I wind up with "stack errors" and the game will not load correctly. As long as I keep the BS installed in Program Files it works fine, but I'm at a loss as to why Modman will not work with BS intalled in Program Files....any help in this matter would be appreciated.:helpsmilie::dunno:

Oh, I thought you had a patch problem - my bad.

The various Modman threads are probably a better place to get help with modman.

ModMan 7.3.0.0 available

My bad too, I found the Modman threads and it looks like I need to move my BS to a new directory:D
