Patch 1.02 not conpatable with Win7 64?

When I try to patch BS to 1.0.2 I get the error shown in the attached JPG. I have tried clean install, default location, no UAC, run as Admin, no joy get the same error every time: THE VERSION OF THIS FILE IS NOT COMPATABLE WITH THE VERSION OF WINDOWS YOU ARE RUNNING

 

Any ideas?

Works fine here, maybe try re-downloading, might be corrupt. :huh:

Yeah, was trying to avoid another 1gig download but you could be right. I'll give it a go

Ja, that's why I was hoping someone else might have better advice. Pretty hefty patch, that one. :noexpression:

No problems here either.

The patch wors correctly in win7 64. Try to download again, and reinstall BS 1.0.

Make a clean install of everything.

Make sure you are using the proper EXE. the patch left the 1.01 on the desktop had to put the 1.02 exe.on the desk top my self.

Right click on the install exec, run as admin. Once installed right click on the shortcut, go into compatibility mode, check the box run as admin. Might want to check the box "Disable desktop composition" for the extra fps...
