tonym Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Has anybody any experience of the Saitek X-65F when used in FC2? TonyM
FullerGer Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 (edited) Yes, working fine ;) Any detailed questions? Edited June 28, 2010 by FullerGer [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ED Team Groove Posted June 28, 2010 ED Team Posted June 28, 2010 There is the split throttle issue. Besides it works fine for me. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
SFJackBauer Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Yes, working fine ;) Any detailed questions? Can I? :D Did you experienced the axis leakage as reported by reviews around the net? Went around it? Does the rotaries are precise? Do they have center detents like X-52 (thing I particularly hate)? What about the throttle stickiness, or difficulty to move without lifting it from the table?
FullerGer Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Can I? :D Sure! Did you experienced the axis leakage as reported by reviews around the net? Went around it? Haven't notice any leakage. Does the rotaries are precise? Do they have center detents like X-52 (thing I particularly hate)? The two big one at the right do have detents, but the one on the left side don't. What about the throttle stickiness, or difficulty to move without lifting it from the table? At the beginning it was very difficult to move, but after a few weeks of practice it's a bit smoother now. But if you want to move the thottle rapid you'll still need to fix it at a table. Do not expect to move the throttle as easy as the X52's. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Bvoiash Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 If your throttle is still stiff FullerGer look here as it solved my X-65F throttle stiffness problem for me.
Pilotasso Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 LOL, under the sun. Thats the funniest fix ever seen. .
159th_Jojo Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 When are we going to get a fix for the split throttle problem?
Bvoiash Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) Looks interesting. Thank you! You're welcome . Hopefully it'll fix the stiffness of your throttle at the lowest tension setting. LOL, under the sun. Thats the funniest fix ever seen. As funny as it maybe it works though :). According to what I've read the problem has to do with the grease that hardened up. So doing so returns it to liquid form again. Edited July 2, 2010 by Bvoiash
Cyb0rg Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 When are we going to get a fix for the split throttle problem? This issue is preventing me from buying the x65. :noexpression: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asteroids ____________________________________________ Update this :D
