Funkyjazz Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Hi, Im able to buy FC 2.0 at simware. Before i do ive got a few questions. - Is there really a difference in graphics: terrain mesh ect? - TrackIR, does i work? - Sound: i used a sound mod in 112B, are these a lot better now? Im running a I7-860 / 4 GB OCZ Platinum 1866 and a Asus 275GTX. This will be enough to run the game with max settings? shackman Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) Does it have any problems with Vista? Or have the crashes been fixed in FC 2? Edited June 29, 2010 by shackman [sIGPIC]http://www.vrsimulations.com/images/sigbanners/vrs_supporter.png[/sIGPIC]
Udat Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 1.12b used to crash frequently on my computer (also running vista,) FC2 not once yet. But this might be system-related and not vista. winz Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Same as Udat. 1.12b crashed a lot (vista 32bit), and FC2 not even once. The Valley A-10C Version Revanche for FC 3
EtherealN Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Terrain is vastly improved. TrackIR works natively. Completely new sound engine - the first one I know of that accurately computes mach cones. 636_Castle Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I think DirectX has been upgraded to 9.0c too...so all shadow problems have been fixed in the graphics engine. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] How To Fix Your X-52's Rudder!
