Hi,

Installed patch 1.02. PS3 controller no longer functions correctly: shoulder buttons are 'all or nothing' - not good for adjusting collective. Any ideas?

Many thanks!

Hi Tez,

If I click the R1 button to raise the collective a little, the collective is raised to its maximum. When I click the L1 button to lower the collective a little, the collective is lowered to its minimum. I therefore can only have maximum or minimum collective.

I have no mods installed. I uninstalled version 1.02 and the controls work normally.

Thanks in advance!

Personally i would like to advice you to spend some money on a nice joystick, or better yet a proper HOTAS

Also, please be aware that trying to fly a simulator like DCS:BS whit an ps3 controller basicly is the same as..... wel.....

Hi Nate.

Collective down is mapped to JOY BTN11 (ie the L1 shoulder button) and collective up is mapped to JOY BTN12 (ie the R1 shoulder button).

Thanks in advance!

Ok I just had a quick check, just using my keyboard to fly. For Game mode the all or nothing is correct. If you press the collective up, it will go all the way up and when you lift off the button it will return to centre.

For the non game mode the collective is adjustable but is very sensitive, a very quick tap is all that is needed to move the collective.

First ensure you are in the Mode (game/sim avionics and flight model) you want to be in (the patch may have reset this) and then experiment just using the keyboard.

For Game Mode (avionics and flight model) the collective up and down keys are Q and A

For Sim mode the collective is Numpad + and -

If you can get Black Shark doing what you want it to in the keyboard, you should be able to get it to do it on the Joypad.

Thanks All!

I reinstalled 1.02 and set up everything from scratch. PS3 controller seems to work fine now!

Thanks again!
