Cdr84 Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 I just purchased and installed Black Shark. I patched to 1.0.1c, then to 1.0.2. I then realized I couldn't view the training stuff, uninstalled the 1.0.2. The game wouldn't start then so I had to reinstall. Anyways, after all that and getting things up and running I have a problem. I can't get the profiles to save properly. They stay in there, but they are always altered in some way when I start the game later. Mostly the axis are messed up and a bunch of keys get copied across all 4 CM devices. Anyone got any help with this? This isn't going to get played until I get this sorted. It takes 15 minutes to redo all that everytime. Thanks, Cdr
Sarge55 Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 That sounds like you used "Save Profile" which is what I did once. It will cause the control settings to be mixed up. When you setup up the controls in game all you have to do is hit OK and they are saved. I had to set my controls to default again and start over. Cdr84 Posted August 21, 2010 Author Posted August 21, 2010 Hmm..., so the save profile function does not work then? Kinda an important feature I should think. Cdr
Sarge55 Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Yeah it is a bit odd. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 10700K OC 5.1GHZ / 500GB SSD & 1TB M:2 & 4TB HDD / MSI Gaming MB / GTX 1080 / 32GB RAM / Win 10 / TrackIR 4 Pro / CH Pedals / TM Warthog
71st_Mastiff Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 this is a bug in the game, the inputs contaminate all inputs, you have to go in and clean them up. trujillostm Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 (edited) With Windows 7 x64, I found my saved column profile on: C:\Users\<myuser>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark\<mycolumn>.lua You can copy and paste on: C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark (you must backup it) And load profile in: options > control > <select the column profile with a click of mouse on it> > load profile > <mycolumn>.lua (you can't find your .lua file if you don't copy and paste in the second folder from the first folder) Edited August 29, 2010 by trujillostm
