Fahhh Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 old, but great video, however it was edited by a tv crew that didn't had a lot of knowledge about fighters and dogfights and inserted some sounds and clips that are not from that actual fight... The hud footage though is beautiful :)
jpm1 Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 quite impressive , russian had a great idea of allowing non-military to fly fighter jets , i still don't understand why occidental countries don't follow the example , what are two fighters in a country fleet ?? SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
nscode Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 (edited) depends on how large the fleet is. interesting, in funnel shots, the remaining ammo is 1 (like in that shot from the ground on the other topic), but in the shots where he's got a lock, it's 4 Edited September 2, 2010 by nscode Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
topol-m Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 This video has already been posted countless times in "Photos/videos" thread. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Griffin Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 quite impressive , russian had a great idea of allowing non-military to fly fighter jets , i still don't understand why occidental countries don't follow the example , what are two fighters in a country fleet ?? I've read that in Sweden it's possible to take a ride in a Gripen during a routine, 15 min or so, training flight. You make an application and get onto a small course, take medical examinations and it costs around 500 € (five years ago). So you basically pay your share of the cost of the flight.
Boberro Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 They should show more HUD than pilot... Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ

JLZ Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 ^^ That's the same price then. 500 for flight and 100 for "administration fees". You know how it works around here :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
nscode Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 My point is, G2 is like 5 times cheaper to fly :) Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
