Has anybody managed to record FRAPS or other video capture using, say, lottu?

I can't get lottu to work with A10c...I try and pick the playback .exe, that being Launcher.exe, but it reverts back to the KA-50 application...

What am I doing wrong? Is it not yet compatible with DCS:A10C?

you can go to the mission planner and select record avi from the top menu, haven't tried fraps or any other softwares tho.

Lottu does not capture/record video from a track - not it's intended function/use.

Hit Replay tab on Main screen. Select track and then press 'Open' and track will load and replay.

Yeah, I realise that - maybe it came across poorly - but I would use lottu to run the trk file, and FRAPS to capture.

I tried the record avi feature but it is sooooo slow on my system. I tried to record an AI take-off and I had it running for half an hour, at that point it was only that far into the AI take-off sequence that the heat blur at the exhausts just began appearing.

I must be doing something wrong but couldn't get different results with different codec, resolution or fps settings.

Would someone be able to shed some light on this? Many thanks in advance.

Check the GUI manual for BS. It has some info in there about the record AVI. 24fps is more than enough for a fluid movie I would think.

Anyone have trouble with recording tracks onto video?

When I playback the track it goes ok for about 5 minutes while recording video, then it just slows down to a slideshow. I've turned graphics down, plus am FRAPsing onto a second disk, so its not the same disk as the track.

Any ideas?
