wildone_106 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Im still in early days of the sim but I noticed even if I have enough air speed to make a loop, something takes over the flight controls before I can get past vertical and prevents me from doing a full loop, how do I turn this setting off so I have full flight control! My sim settings are on full Sim mode. Thx!

wildone_106 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 It seems to snap me back long before I get the nose that high, like its trying to prevent me from performing the maneuver, my airspeed wasn't that high but I shoulda been able to do it I think. ThanksLoopTest.trk

Slow your rate of turn (g meter) in the vertical and if your carrying a full combat load you are probably going to need at least 300kts indicated in order to pull off the loop. Once your over the top you can be a little heavier on the stick but any thing over 4g is probably going to make the flight computer dump a wing. wildone_106 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 ok cool I just wasn't sure if the flight computer was being too aggressive or there was a setting to turn it off (if Im foolish enough!) thanks man!
huckster Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I think i remember reading in the manual somewhere that theres an in build safe guard that prevents high G maneuvers, especially loops, when carrying a full load, atleast that was in the A 10-A manual.

Watch and replicate :) That helped me too. Track doesn't work OK with beta 3, but I've tried to be less aggressive with stick and it helped me. +1 Gigabyte Z490 Gaming X | i5 10600K@4700 | 32 Gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz | Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11G | MONITOR IIYAMA 24,5" LED LCD @ 1920 x 1080 | Windows 11 | Saitek X-55 Rhino | TrackIR 5 Pro
