GRoss Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I understand that this is BETA, and this was just left out at this stage, but I though I'd let everyone know anyway (you've probably noticed it already anyway). There are no sounds or vibration (as far as I can tell) when my a-10 is getting hit by AA rounds. Now I've listened to that interview of an A-10 pilot getting shot by AA rounds in Iraq and she said that it was "very loud" so I assume that some sort of audio and maybe vibration/movement feedback would be reasonable after being hit by 10-20 rounds, since most of the time I can't even tell if I was hit or not (until I crash and burn  ). :music_whistling:
kylania Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Yeah, I rarely know I'm being hit till I start to lose MFCDs :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie
Aylward Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Confirmed... have had my plane sawed in half with shilka fire and never heard a thing til the message came up that i was dead.. numerous times. landing sound seems a little soft too imo.. and no change in sound when tires shred and you're riding/sliding on rims.. :joystick::pilotfly::thumbup: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] please... please... please... let the next DCS module be an F-18 fighter aircraft :worthy:

sweinhart3 Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Yep noticed this too. I hope they change it. Seems to be the same thing ED did with BS and the low pass filtering. Not sure what the fix is but might be same thing with editing the sound lua file like you have to with BS. I havent messed with it.
