GunnDawg Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Hey folks I am setting up a targeting range mission for my self to practice using the AGM-65 Maverick missile and was wondering why it only lets me put mavericks on stations 3 & 9. Can the A10C only carry two Mavericks at a time? Bonus question: What is the difference between the G, D, H, and K versions of the AGM-65? EDIT: I notice I can carry 3 of them per station if I use the LAU-88 version as opposed to the LAU-117 version. What is the difference between these as well? just a bigger munition ?
Bedouin Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 In the manual there is a whole section explaining the storages of TER and SER and all of the weaponry and their differences.. I was also confused but it helped to read the manual... ;) 1 .
Frederf Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) From all I can find info-wise, yeah, AGM-65s only on 3/9. The LAU-88 is a triple-rack which should make it obvious why you can carry 3 AGM-65s with this. The LAU-117(A) is a single rack. However there are limitations to the lighter-weight Mavericks on the triple rack. G is the D with improved software and warhead. H is the D with improved CCD sensor. K is both the D->G and the D->H upgrades together. Edited October 28, 2010 by Frederf
