Where to buy TM Cougar Throttle mods?

Hi Everyone! I plan to use my Cougar Throttle together with my brand new TM Warthog for the hopefully coming supersonic fighter (hope that would be a F16 :-)). For that I would like to mod it with a HAL sensor mod and maybe other mods that are nessecary to improve it to the Warthog standard.

 

Now my question - where can I purchase those mods at best/cheapest (I am located in Germany) and how much will it cost?

Hey Pikas. Can you pm me when you get that info. Thats not a bad idea, now the Cougar stick can be disregarded, (if you have a hog ;)), it should be a lot cheaper to tart up the throttle. I might do the DIY "anti-stiction" mod.

 

Of course you are banking on Ed not releasing "DCS:Apache" next right ;)

And yes, I hope the next plane wii be the F16 and then the Apache as I am a old school Falcon3/Falon4 AND Janes Longbow 1/2 Fan. ;)

Definitely plan on doing the do-it-yourself anti-stiction mod (with the foil and clear tape). Works very well and is easily maintained. I did it once seven years ago, touched it up 5 years ago, and it's been perfect ever since.

Anti- Friction mod it is for the Throttle to proceed smoothly, all the way, and it is just some tape. If i remember right it cost about 5$ .

Its also valis for pedals like TM RSC, ELITE RUDDERS, CH PRO RUDDERS, CH Pro throttle . I would guess more moderm models rely on more modern tech and dont use sliding sliding.

So far i have survived that good with Hall sensor only.

Hi @ll. Thx a lot for all your inputs, esp. the hint to the new link to Cougarworld is very helpful (since Frugual is offline). Cubby sent me the current pricelist for the mods he still offers. The prices are:

 

HS1 Throttle mod Kit: $ 72

Throttle Anit-Static Friction Fix: $10

 

@Joe: Was the anti-stication operation very hard to implement (I´ve not much technical skills :huh:)?
