Hey folks after JTAC issues me the target and I see NEW TASK in my TAD, how do I "activate" it, or whatever the proper term would be to have the marker show up on the TAD?

Ah, I have a question about this. Even after I press that, on the HUD, the "message" symbol at the bottom does not dissapear. Whats up with that?

Also, so a jtac gives me a target, it shows up on my tad, i take it out great. I get a new target on the TAD. Great. Problem is, the first target is still showing up on my TAD, and I cant till which one is the new one.

The message symbol indicates you have a new message. Open the MSG display to view it. It's still not complete but does include a bit more information than in the first open beta. You can use F-ACK on the HOTAS (TMS LEFT, I think) or the button under the msg symbol to acknowledge it and clear the new message flag.

You can remove the target marker by putting the TAD cursor over it (not sure if you actually need to hook it or not). You then get a red option on one of the OSBs on the right. Can't remember what it says, but if you press it, it'll delete the target marker.

F-ACK is TMS Left Short.

When hooking a target (red triangle), you can delete it by hitting the OSB labeled CNC (Can Not Comply), also in red, on the right side of the MFCD.
