crissiloop Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 After reading the great radio tutorial from WarriorX everything is working fine for me. But one Question: can someone tell me please, how i can set frequency presets for the radios. or have i edit the mission file with an editor and when yes, how? crissiloop 1
kylania Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Good question! I keep seeing references to things like "The mission designer can set that up", but never how to set that up. heh [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie

Bimbac Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 My guess is to "Prepare mission" in Mission Editor, the same way as in Black Shark / ABRIS.
kylania Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I'm crashing every time I exit the "Prepare Mission" part... :/ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie
VTJS17_Fire Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Same here, but only if I want to save my preparation. And I think, that works only for single player aircrafts. If I want to prepare a client jet, I don't sit in the cockpit - just external views. kind regards, Fire Hardware: Intel i5 4670K | Zalman NPS9900MAX | GeIL 16GB @1333MHz | Asrock Z97 Pro4 | Sapphire Radeon R9 380X Nitro | Samsung SSDs 840 series 120GB & 250 GB | Samsung HD204UI 2TB | be quiet! kylania Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Yes, what does "Prepare Mission" mean? Search the forums and you'll find some good information about how it works in BlackShark. Seems it enters you into the mission where you can set navigational settings that will default to be part of the mission. In A-10C so far it seems to simply crash the editor. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie
Bimbac Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Same problem here, but guys: remember, this is BETA :)
Grimes Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Prepare mission allows a mission designer to alter the beginning default state of the A-10C. For instance you can load into the cockpit via prepare mission and start up the aircraft to be completely spooled up and ready to go. You can change weapons profiles, NET ID, and add additional waypoint routes. Basically anything you can do to the aircraft in game can be saved. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. kylania Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Well, can be saved if it would stop crashing that is. ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie
