Because of the rather "tactical time" :) to do this, and the fact that my x52 has been getting a little buggy lately, I have decided to revamp my "inputs" for the game. I am going to do something to the poor x52, don't know what yet, and get a Warthog stick with some sort of rudder pedals, because I want to fly Black Shark too. Please advise me on the rudder pedals. I heard Thrustmaster had some pedals, but I can't find them on their website. does somebody know where to buy them, or should I just get something from Saitek or CH. Please Help.

I have some CH pedals. A friend asked me which to buy the Saitek or the CH and I looked it up and replied... Saitek, but not by much. The CH's are simple and solid but the Saitek has a wider spacing and is fine in the other respects. Plus the Saiteks can be had for a little less. I would be happy with either.

My suggestion is to bite the bullet with the X-52 and use as little button-keyboard-game profile daisy chaining as you can. Ditch the modes which actually frees up the mode selector for another command. You can easily do the entire A-10C or Ka-50 with at most a single shift command. Use the DCS software to configure the modifier key.

You don't get to download someone's pr0 file and be done in seconds but it's nearly impossible to know the controls unless you figure them out for yourself. Bring up a picture of the aircraft controls and have a look at your own controller. Which should go where only takes a little head scratching.

That approaches the perfect setup from off the shelf gear. Enjoy, jazjar.

Yeah, the X-45, X-52, whatever controllers in that range; if you remove the other shift state columns and remove the last shift state modifier button the blue shading goes away and you can use all of those previous modifiers as normal commands. Oddly I can't get the mode1,2,3 to use the "latched" advanced command but with some creativity I managed to program it as a 3-position flap switch.

If your friend can wait for the saiket rudder that looks military they have same tech but will be more ergonomic for flight.
