kylania Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 You owe me $40! After seeing that, and realizing $130 is too much I went out and got the Tamiya model instead. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie

SuperKungFu Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Hobby Master models are the best in 1:72 scale (even beats most 1:48 diecast) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

SuperKungFu Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 no problem, go here to view the list of A-10 models that Hobby Master made in 1:72 diecast http://www.hobbymastercollector.com/1-72A-10indexpage.html I believe the best one is HA1311 - Killer Chick Although they may be hard to come by now since it was a popular release and stocks are running short. bumfire Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Killer chick is missing some details ( I think ) As wasnt that the A10 that was flown by a woman which got shot up and came back full of holes and flown in some emergency mode ? If it was, then they missing the hundreds of holes and chunks that was taking out of the Plane.

Correct this model is the A-10 that Maj Kim "Killer Chick" Campbell flew (minus the bullet holes) :D I like to think of it as the condition of the airplane BEFORE she took off that day. You may be interested to know we recently gave her this model, yesterday she responded "Yes I got it! It's awesome! Thank you so much for working that for me! Can I send a thank you note/picture to someone in particular? Thanks, Maj Kim "KC" Campbell Chief, A-10 OTD Team" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
