Flamin_Squirrel Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Hi guys. I seem to be in a bit of a catch 22 situation at the moment. I want to be able to use TS while playing online. The problem is I can't bind a stick button in TS, it has to be a keyboard button. So, I need to use TARGET to emulate a keyboard press. The problem with that is, if I run the TARGET emulation software it messes up the key bindings in DCS WH  Any ideas?
hassata Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1031261&postcount=36 For me, I'm not going to bother. I'll just wait until this whole TARGET mess is sorted out. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
kylania Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 There really should be no reason to use TARGET with DCS: A-10C and the TM WH. To map a HOTAS button to TeamSpeak, such as Mic Switch Up, follow the instructions to reset your throttle to allow TS mapping found in this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1031398&postcount=1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie

Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Runibl Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 (edited) Mic switch forward, back and down are used in the sim (VHF AM, VHF FM and UHF, respectively). Mic switch up is free, and not used in the DCS: A-10C As well as mic switch button press is also free. The Paddle switch on the joystick is also free to use. Edit: Slew button press is also free. The rest is used in the sim. Edited November 26, 2010 by Runibl Runi. Sticky Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Being able to map additionnal keybinds to the Warthog with long / short press management, like Zoom In / Zoom Out, while keeping the defaults configuration. Thats good enough for me! With this I can double the number of commands I currently have mapped on the mic switch, I have 8 now with the pinky paddle button as modifier, with TARGET I could have 16 if I understood you correctly? If so, then thats awesome :) I will install it as soon as I feel I have time to map everything again, thats one advantage with the non-TARGET DCS pre made profile, you dont have to make it yourself. But I really would like to put more stuff on the mic switch, so I will definately use TARGET! One day :music_whistling: Soon :music_whistling: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My Sim/Game CV: Falcon 1,3,4. Gunship. Sticky Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Sorry for going off topic again, but is it possible to use TARGET to program functions to one button, hat or switch only and then use the rest of the buttons via the ingame options? I could do this with my other stick, and Im thinking it probably should work the same way with TARGET. Anyone knows this? That way I could map whatever I want to the mic switch with TARGET without having to make a whole new profile for the entire HOTAS. Sorry again for the OT. TwoLate Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 (edited) Ok here is a workaround. Turns out switches have to be in right position for binding a key other wise it won't work. If the throttle keys have to be set correctly otherwise the warthog is in the middle of a key stroke which blocks other keys from being bound. Follow steps below. Set the throttle switches like so: Throttles (Left and Right): Out of Detent Flap Switch: Center (MNV) Master Light Switch: Center EAC: Down (OFF) RDR ALT: Down (OFF) Autopilot select switch: Center (ALT/HDG) APU: Down (OFF) ENG OPER (Left and Right): Center (NORM) FUEL Switches (Left and Right): Down (OVERRIDE) Speedbrake switch: Center Boat Switch: Center Then try setting it in TS3. Ooops saw it in other post sorry. Edited November 26, 2010 by TwoLate Saw in another post [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
