Took her out of the box-lovely.

Felt the detents and sticky throttele-GEE NOT THAT GOOD.

Plug it in-doesn't work, can't flash the firmware-YOU POS!

After 4 years and a bit of repair work -not bad but by crikey the stick has no feel and the throttle feels like a 2 dollar job.

My opinion-overrated but I keep perservering with it.

I'm not getting mods that cost more than the bloody hotas does either-what a laugh! THEY SAW YOU COMIN' HAHAHAHAHA

Was stuck between CH and Cougar and I lost the bet.

P.S. anyone know how to do the foil throtle mod without losing a whole roll because the crap scrunches up and doesn't fit under the blastid plastic rings?

Hmm swear words were invented for Cougar users.

Need brick wall to bang head against and to knock some sense into me for buying my furry friend.

Well I bought CH first and later got the cougar, smart move on my part :D. I love the feel of the cougar, but can not get mine to work. I'll try again after I move and hopefully get a new computer. It's still hard to believe that after all this years they are still using the same stuff. Shame on TM for doing that.

I voted NO

The moment i unpacked it and felt the movement of the stick i could almost cry. Coming from a M$ Sidewinder Force Feedback (which i realy liked a lot), it just felt horrible, plain horrible. And i cashed out 400 euro for such a thing.

Exactly why I haven't even tried mine to see if it works. I bought it for 220 EUR, though. Unpacked it and, though I was prepared for stiffness, the central axis transition makes the hole thing unusable. And because I've read about the gimbals eating themselves up and developing a slop, I packed it back. Unpacked it once more to show it to a friend who used to own the F16 FLCS. X52 Pro is a much more usable investment (though my X36 still works pretty good, too).

I bought it expecting to mod it afterwards, but now I regret that decision (I only bought it because I figured we will not get another metal real joystick replica the way the sims were going). The set of NXT gimbals plus the hall sensors would set me up for more than the TMW costs and the FSSB R2 costs more than the Saitek X65 does. Not to mention that for any of the new options, I don't have to pay extra to mod the throttle.
