EtherealN Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Since you have 4gb RAM you should not even think about a 32bit OS. 7 will also give significant benefits over XP simply through not being an ancient piece of crap. froogle Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Win7 64 Bit (!!!) no doubt ! Absolutely on the O/S. But not so much on A-10 itself. despite having a 64 bit O/S if you intend to fly hassle free with Track-IR you're going to need to run the 32 bit version of the sim (for now). himti Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 XP is 10 years old. Win7 is the way to go. You could have just told us that you got new expensive Sticks. No need to ask a question.

(relevant note to be put here :P) I.e. why go for a 32bit nowadays? The 32bit a-10c can be installed on a 32bit o/s.. So why "not so much on A-10 itself"? EtherealN Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Froogle, next beta changes that. Also, even when using 32bit exe the 64bit OS Will be superior. Sn8ke Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I know everyone here loves Windows 7 64-bit, but you are destined to get more Frames-per-second (FPS) on XP 64-bit than any other operating system. Thats what I run, it only eats up 350MB RAM of my 4GB. Asus Prime Gaming Wifi7 // Intel 14900K @5.5GHz // 64Gb DDR5 6000MHz // 3090 RTX // 4TB Samsung NVME M.2
