leafer Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I need them for my rudder and stick gimbal. Thanks. I know about about CubPilot's hfx but he wants 50 USD for each! I need four and they'll cost me 8000 THB!!! Ouch! If I can't find any then I'll try the Potentiometer CH sells on their site for 10usd each. Btw, why the heck is it so hard to find a place that sells them? Also, anyone knows if CH plans to change the design of their pro throtte? Cheers ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
BOPrey Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Can't you use a potentiometer instead? I built my rudder with a potentiometer, and connected it to the game port. It works perfect with my X45.

leafer Posted June 7, 2005 Author Posted June 7, 2005 i c...thanks guys. Yeah, I'll get potentiometer from CH online store. They're 10 USD each and I know CH stuff last and last. Just thought if I could get HFX for a resonable price then I rather go that path. BOPrey, where did you get the wiring scheme for the pedals? Or do you have a site that shows in detail? Thanks ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
BOPrey Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 i c...thanks guys. BOPrey, where did you get the wiring scheme for the pedals? Or do you have a site that shows in detail? Thanks I don't know when I place my scheme. However, using a little imagination, you can wire the potentiometer like this. It will show as either a x or y axi on the game port. http://www.ctips.com/game.html A few years ago, there was one guy at simpits.org selling pre-programmed UBS joystick interface chips for $20 each. All you had to do is add potentiometers and switches; you then will have 16 axies and 64 button controller. No driver need, it will show up in Windows as 16 axi stick with 64 buttons. All ready to go. I some how lost his link. If you google around, you will be able to find him. If you do find him, please let us know.
leafer Posted June 8, 2005 Author Posted June 8, 2005 Thanks BOPrey. Will try searching for it. Thanks again. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
