Druid_ Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Understand, but for those who want multi monitor support the AMD is probably the way to go. i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q

tusler Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 de we know if Nvidia runs better than ATi and vice versa, or they more or less the same? From my own experience I had problems with my crossfire setup using 2 1 gig 5770's, so I took them out and put in a single 1 gig Nvidia gtx 460 and have not had any problems since. I noticed if you do search around for a bit there is a few folks who are having problems with ATI. The cards I think are ok but it is drivers that are the problem. I had big graphic issues with ArmaII when I was using ATI also. So I am sticking with Nvidia  Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:! But thnx a lot for your answer :joystick: Do you think that getting 9 women pregnant will get you a baby in 1 month?[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Mobo: Asus P8P67 deluxe Monitor: Lg 22'' 1920*1080 CPU: i7 2600k@ 4.8Ghz +Zalman CNPS9900 max Keyboard: Logitech G15 GPU:GTX 980 Strix Mouse: Sidewinder X8 PSU: Corsair TX750w Gaming Devices: Saytek X52, TrackIr5 RAM: Mushkin 2x4gb ddr3 9-9-9-24 @1600mhz Case: 690 SSD: Intel X25m 80gb
Weaponz248 Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Never Had an issue with either. I however have noticed alot of games are developed around nvidia cards. Only issue I ever had with ATI was a few games didnt run with ATI drivers until they updated them. So the way I look at it is ATI is more for movies and multimedia and Nvidia is for games. But like I said never really had problems with either. I will however be sticking with Nvidia only because I like their setup better. It seems more user friendly. But to answer the question does one run better. I would say probably not. Both will give you the best they can!
Thorvald Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Agreed. After being burned far too many times with their crappy drivers back in the 80's and 90's by ATI (I lived not too far from their main Office and had friends who worked there), I swore never to touch touch their products again. Thankfully the Monster 3Dfx came along and the rest is history ;-) So even though they may have a good card now, I MUCH prefer Nvidia's track record of drivers and the ability to go back to older drivers when the new ones "kack out" for a certain program or game. Apples and Oranges, AMD and Intel, Chevy and Ford, BMW and Ducati.... everyone has their own personal preference... Cheers Tim P.S. Besides, Nvidia products just look cooler ;-) System: Win10 Pro 64bit, Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 MB, Intel i& 8700K, Corsair H150i Pro Cooler, Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 16GB, PNY NVidia 1070 GTX, Corsair MP500 & MP600 SSD, Soundblaster Audigy Rx, CM Mastercase H500P, Oculus Rift S, TM Warthogs.
