WarriorX Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I do, they work fine. See post # 4 in this thread as to how I use one of my CH MFP's in DCS A-10C. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=62995 Sounds like you need to double check you installed the CH Control Manager Software, then create a map for DCS A-10C and then load that map into the MFP. WarriorX Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 No, you need to start Control Manager and load the map each time you restart your PC. Succellus Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 IVO seek in thread another name like "e"something.. looks like CH buy from them, add 2 or 3 cardboards and theyr logo and charge 20 or 30 bucks more for the very same product, not the cheapest cardboards. HaF 922, Asus rampage extreme 3 gene, I7 950 with Noctua D14, MSI gtx 460 hawk, G skill 1600 8gb, 1.5 giga samsung HD. Track IR 5, Hall sensed Cougar, Hall sensed TM RCS TM Warthog(2283), TM MFD, Saitek pro combat rudder, Cougar MFD.
Buehgler Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 The "E" something mentioned above would be Ergodex. As best as I understand, the CH MFP is actually based on technology and components from Ergodex. However, they are not interchangeable, and there is quite a bit more than "2 or 3 cardboards" added. Ergodex has a comparison of the two at http://www.ergodex.com/faqs/Buyer_Selection_Guide.htm As best as I can tell, Ergodex never managed to produce drivers for Vista or Win 7, although people have found workarounds using VirtualXP and the like. As for using this device with DCS, did you see this thread? [/url][sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Revvin Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 IVO seek in thread another name like "e"something.. looks like CH buy from them, add 2 or 3 cardboards and theyr logo and charge 20 or 30 bucks more for the very same product, not the cheapest cardboards. You have obviously not used the product otherwise you'd realise what a false statement that was. The electronics are very different, the CH MFP itself has gone through a new revision of the hardware to improve the performance. The Control Manager software which is not compatible with the Ergodex panel is a quantum leap ahead of its rival.
