Conure Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Hey all, got my first HOTAS today..the x52 pro..It is leagues ahead of my old cyborg and feels MUCH more immersive, very happy with the purchase...Black Shark feels like a new game though.. Annyway, I think I understand the concept of profiling...Basically, the joystick emulates the keyboard and as I switch between modes it emulates different keys..What I'm confused about is, I want to apply the rotaries on the throttle to things like "increase/decrease gate size" for targetting, or perhaps another rotary to something else 'transitional' so to speak, like abris lighting...Is this possible? I've followed the manual and guide but it doesn't explain this! Thanks :) Intel i7 6700k, Asus GTX1070, 16gb DDR4 @ 3200mhz, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Rudder Pedals, Samsung Evo 850 SSD @ 500GB * 2, TrackIR 5 and 27" monitor running at 2560 * 1440, Windows 10.
ilikepie Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 from memory, if the command is on a "slider" in game then its simple, just set it as an axis via gui game pane,l IE prop pitch in il2 is on an axis so can be set to the throttle slider via game menu. If its a button press then you have set bands through the SST (any current saitek users please correct, as mine has been in a draw for a while now) and then programme the band areas as key bindings, either as a single key stroke or a macro command. clear as mud? winz Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I got my X52 only recently too, so there might be easier solution But, in the profiling software: 1)Find the rotary you would like to set-up (i.e. Rotary 1) 2)Click on the Arrow next to it's name, and select 'Directional axes' 3)You can now define keystrokes when rotating the control in either direction. And you can use the 'sensitivity' bar to define how many keystrokes should be pressed when rotating the control from one end to another. The Valley A-10C Version Revanche for FC 3
