Boberro Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Nice pics, I am impressed ^^ Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ

mikoyan Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I wonder if the buran had the same foam problems as the space shuttle.
zakobi Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I want to play Stalker now: http://www.themysteryworld.com/2010/12/abandoned-remains-of-russian-space.html Good news, Stalker 2 have been announced :P
sobek Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Holy mother, the interior of the cockpit freaked me out Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
RIPTIDE Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Holy mother, the interior of the cockpit freaked me out That's a mockup though and yes its hideoous. I mean, they could have splashed out on a X52 FFS and bolted it down. ;) The real Buran was damaged by a collapsing hanger roof. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Antonov225 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Привет. :smilewink: I toured the interior of Buran OK-GLI a long time ago when it "visited" Sydney. The cockpit was akin to that of an Il-86 more than anything else, only with joysticks and a pair of K-36s. I'm impressed by that first picture, it's hard to find any sort of official acknowledgement of the Polyus satellite today.
