wrinkleydms Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Hi Guys, just admiring the Warthog. Will buy it soon, but don't fancy trying to download on bt line ! I have a Saitec x45, which I am hoping to use on the sim. I seem to have lots of buttons etc, to get most controls on. However with only one joystick, how do I control 2 engines? cheers David

wrinkleydms Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 Hi, I thought you needed 2 throttles to provide one different from the other at times? cheers David
Apples Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Hi, I thought you needed 2 throttles to provide one different from the other at times? cheers David I supposed you could using the keyboard, or a joystick with 2 throttles. WarriorX Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Wrinkley, the Sim was set up to work with both single throttles, and double throttles. If you only have a single throttle, the Sim can throttle both the left and right engines with your one physical throttle. Alternately if you have dual throttles available, the Sim can be set up to have each throttle assigned to an engine. And if you have no throttle hardware, you always have the keyboard. S77th-konkussion Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Yes- there are multiple possibilities in terms of mapping your thrust axis to accomodate your throttle. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
PhoenixBvo Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I wonder if you could set up a profile for the X45 to switch throttle axis left/right with the flip of a button. The thrustmaster TARGET software has that capability. It would be useful with the Cougar. wrinkleydms Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 x45 hotas modifiers I can only use a modifier once, when setting up my x45. I wanted to use the 'pinky' button with a number of other top hat functions, is this normal. I know could use the keyboard as a modifier, but cannot keep both hands on sticks if I do that.:(
