I RTB'd after destroying all the ground targets, after landing I quit the mission.

 

But none of my kills were registered? Did I not complete it properly?

Well without a track, nobody else knows for sure what happened in the mission. Unfortunately tracks are inaccurate too. Next time you think you've completed a mission, press the ' key (apostrophe) and check to see if mission progress is at 100%. If it's not, then you haven't completed the mission yet.

I remember pressing it and it said 50% and I remember something about a CSAR for a downed pilot, but never got any messages for that.

Same thing has been happening to me in campaign missions (See my other thread...ED personnel or testers have not replied in it though). None of my kills are registered in the campaign screen nor are they being recorded to my logbook. I am credited for flying time and missions flown in both the campaign screen and logbook, but none of the kills or missions scores are being recorded.

 

In the debrief screen, it shows my kills, but they dont get transferred after the flight ends to the logbook or the campaign screen.

 

I'm not sure if posting a trk file would help, it seems like post mission file updating that is a problem.

 

EDIT: this happens even though I may have gotten a 100 and "Mission Complete" notification during the mission

I am having problems with the first mission of "the shore" too.

 

My problem is something else though.

 

 

1) I cleared all ground threats around the checkpoint, green smoke is visible.

2) I tell the helo (F10 in comm menu) to ingress. He replies, that he's 5 min out, "feet dry", 2 min out. Then he reaches the green smoke...and nothing happens. I can't tell him to egress, he just hovers there, doesn't even land. I can't find any more ground threats and the mission isn't complete.

 

Any hints what I'm doing wrong? I tried the mission the 8th time or so now and I'm getting a bit tired of it because I can't see anything I'm doing wrong :S

Ok so, now in full, there is another problem:

 

In Shore 01 you don't get taxi permission from the tower and the F-16s don't start either. The C-17A which was, in beta, taxiing to parking right when you started stops in the middle of nowhere.

Have the same problem...

 

Leaves me going out alone with my 2,3,4 & F-16's on the ground:music_whistling:

And in the end the UH-60 keeps on hovering above the downed pilot without picking him up:doh:

 

Hope they'll prepare a patch really soon!

Ah, finally someone with the same problems (planes on ground & helo doing nothing). Then it's not just me.

 

I really like the mission, it's really sad it's bugged at the moment :(

Isn't there something about your logbook pilot needing to be the same nationality as the pilot in the campaign to get kills recorded? I have a vague recollection along those lines.

I read the stuff about the nationality also, but I have my nationality set as USA in logbook....so unless there is a different USA somewhere, then it should be the same :).

 

Its not just the logbook, the kills aren't showing up in the campaign window either. Also in the debrief screen, the score is always 0, and it shows "no name" in the mission name line.

I got a problem with this mission (release-version)

 

Everything seems good at the beginning. i started up my systems, changed something in my weapons-profiles etc. then i requested taxi clearance from tower. first time he didnt answere. second time he said negative and i saw a C-17 rolling on the taxi-way heading my position. suddenly it stoped (infront of the taxiway i need to use to reach the runway). i requested another clearance and get another negative. so i decided to wait but nothing happened. after 2 minutes i didnt want to wait anymore, and start to taxi without clearance. wasnt a problem for me but for my wingmen ... they didnt start to taxi, and i think they are still holding they positions right there ... theres something to fix i think

 

EDIT: that happend twice btw !

 

....so unless there is a different USA somewhere, then it should be the same .

This is exactly what happens to me too. It's that bloody C-17 thats the problem. :(

I tried loading mission 2 in the shore campaign the problem seems to affect that mission to, and there is no C-17 to be seen on this one. No aircraft at all is present on the airfield except for the 2 F-16s and my flight of A-10s.

Its look like a known bug on "the shore first mission"

Try to edit the mission to "take off from runway" insted "takeoff from ramp"

Got rid of the C-17 and still wouldn't clear me to taxi. Must be something with my wingman having same callsign as me. Can't change his callsign in the editor either.

Seeing as the problem seems to affect mission two in the same campaign as well, is the same symptoms visible on that mission too? I'm not to handy with the mission editor to check for myself :)

I got it working (got cleared for Taxi, and saw the SEAD F-16 took off).

 

I didnt remove the C-17, I replaced it with another aircraft, but I moved all my flight from their original parking spot, and I also moved the tanker that moved at like 2 mins in the mission, so that the new place landing can have some place to park.

 

So everything seems to be working, but some time in the flight the F-16 are calling RTB after passing WP 2. I don't know why.

 

Here is my mission file, that you can replace in your campaigns folder (DONT FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR FILE FIRST).

Did anyone get the UH-60 to pick up the ground-bound Falcon pilot?

 

I did the mission solo, as the wingies never took off, so a 4 shipper is a waste.

 

My main issue is the dipstick helo driver not wanting to get grass stains on his tires.

 

There has to be a trigger fix for that...
