TRoe13 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Hey, I was just curious if it is possible to set two A10's in the same group for a multiplayer mission? If I create two jets in the same group, one can be client or player, but the other does not have the option.... I thought maybe it was a beta bug but appears to be in final version as well.... am I overlooking something or is this just not possible (yet)? Thanks My PC: OS: Windows 7 64 bit CPU: Intel Core i7 950 Quad Core @ 3.07 GHz RAM: 12GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 GPU: EVGA GTX 580 Black Ops Edition HOTAS: Thrustmaster Cougar Track IR v4
Distiler Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I never understood the programming difficulty in not allowing this. Might be tricky for some reason. AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
TRoe13 Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 Hm.... I hope it's not how it's supposed to be.... i'd like to someday be able to actually have all my wingmen set-up in-game in the same group under the same flight callsign, Hawg 1-1, Hawg 1-2, ect and not have them all different like Hawg 1-1, Hawg 2-1. Hawg 3-1 ect. My PC: OS: Windows 7 64 bit CPU: Intel Core i7 950 Quad Core @ 3.07 GHz RAM: 12GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 GPU: EVGA GTX 580 Black Ops Edition HOTAS: Thrustmaster Cougar Track IR v4
MadTommy Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 2 Client Hogs set in same group - Possible? Been wanting that for a long time...... no joy. Not in, FC, FC2, BS and now in A10c. There must be reason.. unless they just want to punish us mission makers! :P i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music. TRoe13 Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 Yea I know.... it's not like it's a game-breaker or anything.... just seemed like something that should already be in a realistic simulator like this.... I would love for the feature to be there, but I can live without it. brewber19 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 True, but the lack of this feature makes designing and building complex missions a complete ball-ache. Much better if the product would evolve...mission makers have only been asking for it for 7 years or so! Yes, I have added this to the Wishlist thread ;) You still have the ability to work all other mechanics as a group through setting your ID's in the SADL. keithb Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 You can edit the mission file directly, not sure if you can achieve what you want. I have been able to create SP missions where you flyas the wingman http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=59815&page=2 Cheers Keith
