I want to be able to use my trim wheels on the G940 with DCS A10-C but there are no trim actions defined under Axis Commands. FC2 has trim defined in it's axis commands so I wonder why A10-C does not have this option. Any ideas on how I can use my trim wheels on G940 to trim the A-10C?

Thanks.

Also it seems that when FF is on, pitch trim doesn't function properly. The aircraft will react top trim but will start nosing down no matter what. The only way to fix it is to turn off FF.

Correct, no axis trim in DCS:A-10C.

The fact that there was in FC2 was a step away from reality. Fighter pilots trim with a hat.

I think the real aircraft uses just the buttons, i.e. no analog axis. Although it should have an analog axis for yaw trim, now that I think about it...

That is correct. There is a knob on the SAS panel, near the T/O trim button. However, I would presume that it is rarely used. The other two axes are trimmed with a hat on the stick.

I only respond to that little mechanical voice that says "Terrain! Terrain! Pull Up! Pull Up!"

I think there should still be an option to use analog wheels for trim. I mean how does it hurt anyone to have that option? Options are a good thing!

I agree with this. While in Simulation mode you probably want as much reality as possible... If someone want's to just have fun in Game mode then a Pitch Trim Axis would be much easier for a rookie.

When would you trim in Game mode?
